Anonymous asked: HI ROZETTE! Here’s a question: Are you a fast reader?
- Hello! Not at all. Hehe. Some books take me weeks to finish. It depends on how interested/busy I am. :)

Anonymous asked: Are you able to read on noisy places? Also, when you read do you have a background music?
- I try, but I prefer music over noisy ambient sounds. When I read, I prefer songs without any lyrics to avoid getting distracted. I think I just have ADD, that’s all. Haha.

Anonymous asked: Hi, when is the next issue of WOY coming? And I want to send my story, do you choose among the ones sent to you? Like if it’s not really a good one, do you still publish? Did you do that with the first issue? :) Oh, and P.S. you and your boyfriend are the cutest! :)
- Issue two is set for a January 2011 release (hopefully)! Please do send us your stories. We can’t publish everything that gets sent, but we promise to send in constructive comments and suggestions to help you with your work. :) (And thank you! :D Hehe)

Anonymous asked: Hi Rozette! I love all your blogs (official, book, writing, and this one)! And although we don’t know each other personally I’ll miss you heaps when you go to the U.S.! It feels as if you’d be much farther away! :( I hope you do good, though. And I’m happy for you :) Anyway, my question is this: what is your definition of a good writer?
- Aww. Thank you so much. I’m glad you read my blogs! I really hope I do well too. Anyway. I don’t really know how to define a good writer. Hmm.. But I think if the work affects and makes you feel things, then it’s a good piece of writing. :)

walkwhilereading asked: What has happened to Read Hard…?
- Hello Casey! Sadly, I’ve just been too busy with other things lately. However, my last day of work is on Thursday so I’ll have more time then! I’m not gonna let it die, don’t worry!

lostinthemail asked: oh im so sorry about that. Im sure your gonna find a job that you’d love in no time. What course did you graduate from?
- Thank you! I have a BA in Communication Arts. :)

1931 asked: oh, not a question - just want to say thanks for following me (honor!) and that i really adore your “plane tickets & suitcases” blog. your photography is also an inspiration, so there. that’s all. :)
- Your art is AWESOME. But I’m sure you know that already. Thank you also for reading my other blog! :)

thestarsalign asked: Hi Zet! Been reading Witness Our Youth and I think it’s a wonderful thing you’re doing, together with the rest of the WOY team. I’m just curious, though, do you think about WOY eventually going to print? I think it’d be cool, with its following and all. I also think it has the potential to start a reading & writing revolution not only in the Philippines but also among the youth, who may be growing more inclined to other forms of entertainment (which is not bad; there’s just nothing quite like enjoying a book). Just sharing my thoughts and wondering what you think :) All the best with WOY!
- Johna! Thank you for reading WOY! That’s the goal, actually - to get it printed someday. I attempted it for Issue One, but it was too expensive. I’m not going to stop trying though. Thanks again! :D

Anonymous asked: Hi Zet, you’re pretty and awesome. Can I have your babies?
Anonymous asked: Zet. You inspire me, and I mean that with all my heart.
- Hello guys. Thank you for leaving sweet messages on my Tumblr ask. They make me smile! :D

Anonymous asked: Do you cover your books? I don’t cover mine. Any ideas on how to take care of books? I just want my books to be safe and happy. Thanks.
- Hello! I don’t cover my books. Hmm. Keep them in a clean shelf and arrange them well, I guess. That’s what I do. Although, I recently ran out of shelf space so some of my books are scattered everywhere.

Anonymous asked: Where did you get your signed copy of The Wild Things? Please, I need to know. Thank you. :’)
- I got it online, on eBay. :)

thebigcrunch asked: Hi Zet! This isn’t a question really, I just wanted to thank you for having amazing taste in music. I think everyone gets stuck in a rut even with the music that they listen to but ever since I started following you I never run out of new and fresh artists/bands to check out. Good luck with everything you do! Thanks again for constantly sharing and btw you’re awesome! :)
- Thank you so much, dear! I’m glad you appreciate my music posts. I’ll try to post more varied stuff! :)

 Anonymous asked: HI !

I love your amazing blog. You post and reblog the most awesome stuff. It’s amazing and of course you get this a lot. I don’t have a tumblr, my cousin does so whenever he’s on it, I will join, looking for awesome blogs. Well, you’re definitely one of them. And not to forget Witness Our Youth is an amazing project.
And, the last cute couple photo you reblogged from caffeine-cranked is super duper CUTE. She’s cool, she posts amazing stuff as well ( I think the blogger is a she. or maybe he, I don’t know. pardon me)
Ahhh now there’s another blog. :)

 You are definitely everyone’s inspiration.
- Hi, you’re sweet. Thank you! Thanks for supporting Witness Our Youth. And I agre, I love caffeine-cranked’s Tumblr too! :D

Anonymous asked: Hey I was just wondering,

when you read books, do you note down your favourite phrases and possibly some new words? My vocab is not good, and I know doing those things can make the reading process a bit longer than expected.
- Hello! Yes, I have a separate notebook where I write quotes, words, and etc. It’s a good exercise, I think, and I definitely recommend it. Unless you prefer writing on the book itself which isn’t bad. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, really, as long as you enjoy what you’re reading. :)
